Sometimes bad weather prevents photographers from holding any photo shoots for extended lengths of time. A photo crew visited Key West for a week of photo shoots during June, the beginning of the Hurricane season in Florida.
During the trip, a tropical storm drenched the Florida Keys, preventing the crew and models from working. So they used the downtime to hit Key West's bars as ankle-high rain flooded the streets.
However, torrential rain and strong winds continued for several more days, jeopardizing the entire production.
Here is a hair stylist describing the bad weather during the shoot...
When the rain let up temporarily, the crew attempted to hold shoots on the windy beach. As soon as the crew began shooting, dark clouds soon appeared overhead signaling that the rain was returning.
Models were trying to pose with high winds and rain pelting them. It felt like they were in a hurricane.
Eventually, the crew were forced to hold shoots inside in their condo and captured enough photos to finish the photo campaign.
