In an effort to obtain ocean scenes for a male modeling photo shoot in Key West, Florida, we contacted the owners of Fury Catamarans about getting onto their boat.
To our surprise, the company agreed to provide a 50-foot catamaran at no charge for a day in exchange for promotional consideration.
Male Models Snorkel Between Photo Sessions
The catamaran turned out to be a great backdrop for our photo shoots. And it came with an added bonus - complimentary snorkeling gear. During the down time between shots, our eight male models slipped into the masks and flippers provided and jumped into the blue waters of the Gulf of Mexico.
Snorkeling takes little or no experience and it proved to be a great way to unwind during a hectic photo shoot. The models, college students from the Midwest, really enjoyed the experience - an added bonus to their photo shoot. Obtaining a free catamaran and snorkeling gear isn't something that happens on every photo shoot. But, we were lucky! And the experience helped us create exceptional photographs and gave our models a day to remember. Snorelling is definitely a fun, once in a lifetime experience.
