A photographer saw a large wooden tiki god statue outside a Key West store and wanted to use it as a background in a photo.
The store, called "Local Color", sold postcards and other souvenirs.
The trouble is the model, named Zin, was to pose for this photo semi-nude and the crew would need to block the store's entrance to get the tiki statue in the background.
So, they would need to hurry through the shoot because they could not block the store's entrance for long.
Zin wore loose-fitting shorts until he was ready to pose.
The crew set up the angle, sprayed water on the model and took a light reading

All while customers watched this crazy shoot from inside the store.
JUST when they were ready to begin shooting, a customer wanted to buy a postcard.
So, they waited for the customer to choose a postcard,
Ok, da, da, do. Yes, Just waiting here... Ooookaaaaayyy
Great. let's do the shoot!
The model pulled down his shorts and handed them to another model
and held a net full of sponges in front of his crotch.
Then the photographer rushed to snap photos.
The actual picture-taking lasted only a minute or two.
Oh, there are those postcard people walking in the middle of the shoot!...
After the photographer got the photos he needed, the crew held reflectors in front of the model so he could get dressed.
The shoot was done and few people in the busy Land's End marina noticed a man was just totally nude in public.
