Waterfalls may seem beautiful in photographs, but the location may not be luxurious in person. For one photo session, models Malcolm and Steve MacLaren were pretty grossed out after the shoot.
Ignoring posted signs warning against getting into to water, the photographer instructed the brothers to wade out into the river and pose on a series of rock formations.
Brown bubbly foam floated on top of the water and down the river as the models waded through the water.
Black and white photography can fool the viewer, so you do not see the dirty gunk in these photos.
The MacLarens posed on rocky ledge formations as water rushed over.
While posing, models were distracted by fast water rushing over the rocks and from sitting on brown bubbly sludge that covered the rocks beneath them.
The foam was slimy, causing the models to repeatedly slide off the ledges.
After the shoot, slime stuck to their bare legs and had to be washed off.
